HotWalls Studio designs and installs custom cabinetry programs for New York homes — entryway runs, full-wall storage, pantry and serving programs, continuous kitchen-to-living millwork, and dedicated cabinetry for wine, AV, and home offices.
Our LifeStyle Cabinets program is the foundation — modular custom cabinetry, soft-close hardware, integrated lighting, and the finish quality of furniture. Our MELD Wall is the upper end: full-height pantry, climate-controlled wine storage, stone countertop and walnut cabinetry composed as a single continuous millwork piece.
Every install is fabricated in our New York studio and installed by our own crew. Lead times are typically 5 to 8 weeks from design approval.

What is the difference between stock cabinets and built-in cabinetry?+
Stock cabinets come in fixed widths and get installed with filler strips to fit your wall. Built-in cabinetry is engineered to the exact dimensions of your room — no fillers, no gaps, finishes selected for your specific lighting and palette. Built-ins are also typically scribed into the architecture so they read as part of the building rather than placed furniture.
How much does built-in cabinetry cost?+
Our LifeStyle Cabinets program starts at $8,780 for a focused installation and scales based on linear footage and material selection. Full-wall MELD installations with integrated wine, pantry and serving start at $27,250. Every quote is itemized.
Can you build cabinetry around existing architecture?+
Yes — we routinely scribe new cabinetry around original mouldings, plaster cornices, radiator covers and pre-war detailing. We measure on site and panelize to clear what stays.
Do you do home-office and library cabinetry?+
Yes — bookshelves, integrated desks, file storage, AV niches, and full-room library programs. Our LifeStyle Cabinets system is designed for exactly this kind of programmable, room-wide work.
